They serve as the front door to the agency and are a strategic partner and liaison to Marketing.   Account Strategists are the agency subject matter authority for their line of business. They work closely with marketing partners on how C2 can help them reach their business goals and partner to define the project strategy and approach, and help the team stay focused on the goals.

We earn clients’ trust every day by focusing on the unique needs of each retirement plan and of every employee (participant) in the retirement plans we serve.  Our approach helps participants take ownership of their full financial futures.   The Communications Development Manager is a solutions-oriented role within our SRPS Marketing and Communications team that develops content and internally consults with business partners to implement communication strategies that impact the participant experience.  This role will report to the Senior Team Manager, Participant Marketing and Communications. Collaborating closely with members in the existing 40+ person team as well as the SRPS field, they will work to deliver effective communications that engage participants in their workplace retirement plans and support their broader financial needs.   Key Responsibilities include: - Collaborating with client-facing teams: Develop and evaluate solutions and alternatives with Communication Consultants and Relationship Managers in support of the client’s communication strategy and the participant experience. - Project management: Manage the content development process, from execution to fulfillment of communication and education material for web, direct mail, email, presentations and digital signage within given timelines. - Creating well-documented plans: Ensure expectations are clearly understood and within parameters of measured outcomes. - Partnering with cross-enterprise teams: Advise business partners on how to most efficiently use resources to achieve goals.  Includes leveraging and maximizing existing content where possible. - Identify trends to support new participant experiences: Discover new content, template, and campaign needs.

Our responsibilities include: developing consistent, company-wide communications aligned with our purpose and employee commitment; advancing business objectives through communications that improve organizational effectiveness and enhance employee alignment with operating priorities; and effectively support corporate change initiatives.   The Digital Channels & Media team designs, creates and handles a wide range of digital media on multiple internal platforms in support of all of Schwab’s key businesses and senior leaders. This includes the design, development and management of corporate and enterprise SharePoint intranet websites in the delivery of corporate news/information and business communications, executive presentations, digital signage, internal video, online gamification and surveys/polling to promote employee engagement and business literacy.

Client Service Communications is part of the Central Marketing organization at Charles Schwab. Our team is responsible for managing the development, production and tracking of account-related communications to clients across many different business units.   From regulatory notices to on-going service communications to ad-hoc incident communications, we cover outbound non-promotional communications to clients. Our goal is to create clear, client friendly, efficiently-produced communications that reinforce the Schwab brand.    The team works with a variety of internal partners, including operations representatives, product managers, the internal creative agency, compliance and legal, senior-level review groups and technology production groups.

The group’s primary objectives are to expand and deepen our relationships with media and other influencers; use multiple avenues to position Schwab positively in coordination with broader marketing efforts; and to showcase the firm’s innovations and advancements through proactive storytelling in owned and earned channels.   This director role will help drive media relations strategy and execution for Schwab Advisor Services, which custodies the assets of thousands of independent Registered Investment Advisors. In particular, this role will focus on counseling senior leaders, supporting integration efforts, and managing crises/issues management.   This role will also require persuasive and clear writing and will work closely with Corporate Communications counterparts to plan and coordinate programs that integrate social media, employee communications and events with public relations initiatives.
