The asset management organizations at Schwab were recently brought together in a newly built enterprise, Schwab Asset Management Services (SAMS). SAMS includes two advisers, Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. (CSIM) and Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc. (CSIA), in addition to sales, research and related support functions. CSIM is the investment advisor for the Schwab and Laudus Mutual Funds and Exchange Traded Funds and various separately managed account strategies. A majority of these funds are handled by CSIM with several strategies sub-advised by third party asset managers. In addition to the proprietary funds, CSIM has certain responsibilities for the bank collective trust funds and an offshore money fund.   The Director, SAMS Compliance Team (Director, SAMS Compliance) will be encouraged to assist the Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer in developing, maintaining and administering the Compliance Programs for Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. and Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc. under Rule 206(4)-7, as well as for the Schwab Funds, Laudus Funds and Schwab ETFs under Rule 38(a)-1.

The position will also collaborate with Compliance, Corporate Risk Management, Legal, business peers and SMEs to build strong relationships and help ensure compliance.
