Schwab Advisor Services Restricted Stock Service is the leading provider of custodial, operational and trading support for independent, fee-based investment advisors with regards to their restricted stock. We’re looking for individuals excited about helping advisors grow successful businesses through a proactive and focused approach to service.    The Restricted Stock Service Specialist position will be responsible for supporting investment advisors, AS Service/Sales teams and the AS trading desk through primary education on 1933 Act pursuant to Rule 144, 144 b1, 144A, Regulation D, Regulation S and 10b5-1. The position has the opportunity to occasionally aide advisors on 1933 Act Rules and Regulations. This individual will work closely with number of stakeholders, both internal and external, and will be responsible for building those relationships through consultation on best practices, partnership and ownership.  The primary partners of this role will be RIA clients, Equity/Fix Income Trading, AS Service/Sales, Security Operations, Margins, Corporate Actions and Prime broker/Trade Away.

To do this, we read, research, analyze, and write about these topics, to help retail clients turn research (and Insights) into action to achieve the desired results and to help our internal investment teams with research content on a broad variety of topics.   The Generalist Research Analyst will be a member of the Portfolio Analysis, Advice Tools and Policies team within SCFR and will report to the Managing Director of this team.

With over $215 billion in 13 funds with 15 share classes, CSIM is the eighth largest manager of money market funds (MMFs) in the US. The MMFs serve as a key cash products offering for many of Schwab’s clients and the clients of Registered Investment Advisors who custody their assets at Schwab.   We are looking for a Quantitative Developer passionate about frameworks and techniques that drive our investment process. As part of our investment research team, you will be an integral part of understanding our investment products from end-to-end, from how the raw data is ingested to how the clients invest in the final products.
