Retirement Business Services’ (RBS) business model is B2B. Our clients are third-party administrators (TPAs), independent record-keepers (IRKs), financial advisors and plan sponsors (companies with retirement plans for their employees). All of these clients have something in common- they service, advise, or provide retirement account options and products for companies (or their own employees) that provide retirement benefits to their employees. In our role, we act as either directed custodian or directed trustee for these plans (accounts).   In RBS, we believe that: - Client expectations around simplicity and being easy to do business with are accelerating at a rapid pace. - Great service, delivered every time, all the time, is the only sustainable winning strategy. - Scale matters today, and will matter more and more over time. As a member of the Participant Services team, you will speak with participants of employer-sponsored retirement plans by phone to provide guidance and solutions. This is a team-based environment as you have one-on-one interactions with employees of Schwab sponsored plans. The Associate will build knowledge and skills with ongoing classroom and hands-on training to become a subject matter authority on retirement products and services. Throughout your time in the role you will: - Complete a mix of instructor-led classroom training and on-the-job-learning in your first year. - Grow your knowledge of the financial services industry and Schwab’s unrivaled position. - Perform in a fast-paced, inbound service center environment representing Schwab in every interaction. - Consult with participants in retirement plans to identify needs and offer solutions. - Care enough to ask the difficult questions knowing that just one question, the right question, can change a participant’s future. - Work toward career advancement and development opportunities. - Pursue advanced licensure and grow your brokerage knowledge by working closely with management to identify a career path with Schwab.  “Always put the client first.  No matter what.”  Charles Schwab
