Schwab Asset Management Solutions (SAMS) is the asset management arm of the Charles Schwab Corporation, and has over $500 billion under management in mutual funds, ETFs and separately managed accounts. Products managed include a wide variety of active and indexed equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies, as well as money markets funds. SAMS uses a consistent and disciplined approach to investing across all our products and seeks to develop innovative new products to meet the core investing needs of our clients. The Group is responsible for creating and implementing credit policies, establishing risk parameters, and monitoring regulatory and internal guidelines.   The Municipal Research Group is responsible for analyzing credit across the municipal investment-grade credit spectrum and the entire yield curve.  Our primary goal is to assess credit opportunities in the municipal space for the Schwab money-market funds, bond funds, and ETFs. The Analyst will be responsible for: - Analyzing issuers and debt structures within multiple municipal sectors - Determining internal issuer/security ratings - Preparing written reviews and oral presentations for review committees, - Providing on-going surveillance of holdings in the sector, and - Maintaining internal sector databases
