Your Opportunity

The Operations Transformation Organization (OTO) is responsible for transforming Operational Services into a highly scalable organization, while crafting a culture of excellence in how we build shared value for clients, manage risk, cultivate talent, and collaborate with partners across Schwab. The Transformation Management Office is seeking an inquisitive, hardworking Change Management Analyst to drive acceleration of benefit realization by using a structured approach to organizational change management that identifies organizational impacts, anticipates points of resistance, plans for employee adoption, and anchors the value capture within the business area.

 

What you are good at

This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes and policies, systems, technology, job roles, approaches and behaviors, and organization structures. The ideal candidate will pair analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong intuition. They will demonstrate the ability to spot risks and ask the right questions to ensure the appropriate trade-offs are considered. The ideal candidate will work to drive faster adoption and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, return on investment and the achievement of results and outcomes.

 

What you have

  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in organizational change management focusing on business readiness taking into consideration technology deployment, process/policy changes, capability deployment, and any business activities required to integrate changes into the “business as usual” environment.
  • Proficiency in conducting partner and impact analysis to define a series/sequence of activities to influence stakeholder commitment and embed changes into the environment at both the organization and individual levels
  • Solid experience and a deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools with a demonstrated capability to develop creative solutions that engage the heart and the mind to drive change. ADKAR certification is a plus
  • Ability to fluidly apply knowledge from other subject areas such as communications, adult learning, leadership development, problem solving, org design, and design thinking
  • Strong facilitation skills to engage at all levels and across diverse teams in both in person and virtual settings
  • Effective communication including the design and delivery of effective and impactful presentations
  • Analytics and measurement insights with an ability to use data to tell a story that drives action
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, project management, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-starter; takes initiative and can work independently as well as collaborate with team members and key partners across the firm
  • Flexible and adaptable work style, able to work with and understand dependencies of various business departments and domains
  • Solid understanding of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio Drawing tools along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required
  • A background in the financial services industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or a related field or equivalent experience
