Schwab is seeking intelligent, hardworking, and dedicated individuals to join the ranks of the Organizational Change Management team in the technology division. The successful candidate will provide execution and tactical project coordination, manage and support projects within Schwab Technology Services (STS), and supervise team members at the OCM lead and practitioner levels. 


The Senior Manager of Organizational Change Management is a motivated individual, proficient in multiple change management theories, who can transfer theory into practice using a consultative approach to change management.

The Senior Manager of Organizational Change Management should have excellent change management skills, proven experience as a leader, and exemplary communication and planning skills.

What you have

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in related field (Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Communications) preferred but not required (change management certification will be an asset i.e. PROSCI)
  • 8-10 years of experience in organizational change management, consulting, employee communications, learning & development, or internal strategy, including designing processes, framing problems, writing employee communications, making presentation materials, facilitating meetings, presenting to large and small audiences
  • Strong communication and storytelling with Powerpoint, Word
  • Instructional design experience designing and creating training materials (how-to-guides, e-learning, FAQs, instructor-led training materials and facilitator guides, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Experience in technology and /or financial services strongly preferred, but not required
  • Strategic thinking, sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to influence
  • Experience creating and presenting metrics, status, milestones
  • Engage stakeholders and drive initiatives to be successful
  • Acting as a change agent, using skills and expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within teams
  • Across initiatives engage in building consensus and developing recommended solutions as issues arise
  • Extremely organized and excellent communicator
  • Ability to handle multiple project assignments simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, analytical thinking, and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Ability to think creatively and have flexibility.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required for interactions across organization
  • Experience facilitating large group/team meetings
  • Exhibits behaviors indicating a focus on goals, overcoming obstacles, and promoting teamwork.
  • Coordination of and oversight of work activities and deliverables of team resources
  • Executing complex and/or strategic tasks requiring advanced subject matter expertise
  • Function as a core member of a program/project team.
  • Expert communicator and influencer with outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a level maturity while under constant pressure from the business and technology community.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
