Your Opportunity

Your primary role will be a Senior Mobile Infrastructure Engineer.  You will work within our team to support and develop programs such as BYOD, Sales Enablement, and Kiosk development. You must have the thirst to develop new solutions and do the right things for our internal and external customers.  You will also work closely with other technologists outside our core team on various tactical and strategic projects that will allow our employees to be productive anytime, anywhere, and ensure solutions are agile and adaptable to evolving business requirements, evolving technologies, and ensure regulatory guidance is satisfied. You will also provide on-call support for the Mobility infrastructure for tier 3 issues. Familiarity with IoT technologies is a plus.

Duties will include:

  • Designing solutions to fit the needs of the Mobility program
  • Prototyping solutions quickly
  • Contributing to the technology strategy
  • Ensure initiatives adheres to Schwab’s technology standards and governance
  • Self-management of projects
  • Occasional travel will be required

What you have

  • Deep experience with mobile device management and mobile application management technologies like MobileIron, Airwatch, and Intune. 
  • Prior successful deployment and migration to Intune is a must
  • Use of cloud based security, DLP, network and SASE products
  • Deep understanding of Apple iOS and Droid operating systems, the user experience, and the user experience and security policies for each platform
  • In-depth knowledge of the dependencies mobile infrastructure as it relates to mobile application
  • Use of virtualization products like citrix and VMware with mobile
  • Understanding of  Cloud, Hybrid, and On-premises technology deployments and how these affect mobility
  • Knowledge of networking, load balancing, proxy, and firewall technologies
  • Understanding of iDaas and SSO support
  • Ability to communicate ideas and problem solutions clearly
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with team members and stakeholders
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services or Healthcare
  • Ability to show good judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties 

 

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of project management and controls
  • College degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field with 5-7 years of systems support work experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Understanding of Virtual Machine Concepts
  • Experience with PKI security
  • Ability to use SQL and Scripting to create reports and automate Maintenance functions
  • Experience participating in Regulatory and Internal Audit
  • Knowledge of RF in-building signal improvement systems and managing Mobile carriers and 3rd parties installers in person and remotely (DAS, Small cell, and eFemto)
