    We have 3 key areas of focus: accelerating diversity and inclusion efforts across the firm to meet future business needs, reimagining how employees experience culture at Schwab from onboarding to development, and driving organizational transformation through focused change management practices.

     

    As a Sr. Manager, Change Management, you will play a key role in ensuring cultural change initiatives for new business processes, systems, technologies, job roles and organizational structures are successful. You will be focused on the people side of change, by working to reduce employee resistance to change and increase the speed of adoption of new behaviors needed for change initiatives to be successful. You will deliver best in class change management practices that are integrated with business plans in a systematic and rigorous way.

    What you’re good at

    • Supporting change management efforts related to cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives.
    • Advocating change management strategies that help guide and support people through the change process, including impact analysis, readiness assessment, and sponsor roadmaps.
    • Driving the design, development, delivery and management of change communications and training.
    • Owning change coordination activities, status reporting, roadmap planning, and additional change infrastructure elements that help motivate change consistency.
    • Cultivating relationships with project team members, partners, and leaders to implement change plans, resolve issues, and handle resistance.
    • Coaching senior leaders to act as change sponsors.
    • Monitoring progress of change plans, collecting feedback, evaluating results and adjusting plans as needed.

    What you have

    • Educational background in Industrial Org Psychology, Organizational Development or Organizational Change
    • Significant experience in a dedicated organizational change management or consulting role with track record of success
    • Strong business sense and ability to align change management process to business needs
    • Ability to influence leadership and enroll employee support and engagement
    • Skilled at taking a consultative and collaborative approach to problem solving
    • Excellent facilitation and communication skills
    • Strong project management and analytical skills
